Who's behind the keyboard?

I'm Chigurupati Nandan Sai — a Computer Science & Engineering undergrad at IIT (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, originally from Hyderabad, Telangana.

I build things that actually work: full-stack web apps with clean backends, AI tools powered by Azure, and algorithms that solve real problems efficiently. My stack leans toward Node.js, Express, and MongoDB on the backend with Vanilla JS and modern CSS on the front.

Outside of building, I've volunteered at Srijan — IIT-ISM's flagship tech fest — and contributed to departmental events. I'm always looking for the next interesting problem to solve.

A smart group expense splitter that eliminates the chaos of shared finances. The core engine uses a greedy graph algorithm to minimize total transactions — reducing up to N×(N-1) potential transfers down to just N-1. Features JWT authentication, equal/exact/percentage splits, recurring expenses, and a full settlement plan. Deployed live on Render.

AI-assisted tender eligibility evaluator. Upload tender docs (PDF, DOCX, images) — the system extracts criteria, evaluates each bidder, routes ambiguous cases to manual review, and exports structured audit reports. Built on Azure Document Intelligence and deployed to Azure App Services.

Hackathon prototype that turns noisy raw data into actionable insights. Accepts CSV, JSON, logs, free text, PDFs and scanned images — profiles fields, detects outliers, runs heuristic sentiment & entity extraction, and produces plain-English insight cards with Azure Document Intelligence.
